Admission

Eligibility
For the 10+2 (Science) & 10th pass candidate ,with a desire to work and shine in the field of health care, these Diploma & Certificate courses offers the opportunity to train in the exacting science of Healthcare through various disciplines' like Laboratory , Operation Theatre, Radiology & Imaging , etc.

You will receive the best possible training under expert guidance in a sophisticated and ergonomically designed laboratory setting, which would stimulate you to strive to excel and prepare you to enrich your career with excellent job opportunities in India and abroad.

The Diploma programme shall consist of 12 months class room course, as well as, six month compulsory hands on training in state of the art healthcare settings and The Certificate Courses shall consist of 9 months Class room course and 3 months compulsory hands on training.

GENERAL RULES FOR ADMISSION TO THE COURSES
a. The courses are open to any Indian Citizen or NRI candidates who satisfy the requisite educational criteria for admission, on payment of the stipulated fees.
b. Application for any of the courses may be made on the application form provided with the prospectus on payment of Rs.1,000/-by cash/D.D. at the college counter.
c. The application form for registration, attached with the prospectus is to be submitted, complete in all respects, together with the following enclosure to the college office on or before last date of submission.
. Photo copies of mark sheets of qualifying/last examination attended and passed . Two recent passport size photograph . Proof of age and address, . Demand draft of Rs............/-for Diploma courses & Rs........./- for Certificate courses, drawn in favour of Satirtha Foundation payable at Guwahati, Assam, towards Course Registration fees.
d. Selection of candidates for Diploma programmes will be on the basis of merit and interview only . The aggregate marks of 10+2 examination only will be taken in to consideration while preparing the merit list .
e. For Certificate courses the admission will be on first come first served basis.
f. Merit list of the candidates will be put up on the college noticed board ,along with those on the waiting list.
g. Wait listed candidates will be considered only after expiry of last reporting date for merit listed candidates. Any canvassing will mean automatic disqualification .
h. Course fees are to be paid by the selected candidates, on admission to the courses, through demand drafts drawn in favour of "Satirtha Foundation", payable at Guwahati.
i. Option for part payment of fees may be availed with prior written permission of the management .The Institute shall provide assistance for Education Loan from Banks.
j. Premature withdrawal from any of the course will entail forfeiture of the semester fees already paid.
k. All students must pay refundable caution money deposite of Rs.........../-at the time of admission, to be retained by the institute for as long as the student exists on the rolls
l. Examination fees of Rs........./- payable by demand draft will be charged at the time of filling up the examination forms, before the commencement of semester examination.
m. A Library and Information Service Charge of Rs......./-per Month will be applicable for all students at the time of admission.
n. Hosteliers will be charged Rs.........../-p.m.for lodge and board, inclusive of electricity and water charges.
o. Admission will be deemed complete only when the students have submitted all relevant documents and made full payment of all applicable fees. Registration number will be given to candidates on completion of admission procedure.
p. Registration fees deposited by the unsuccessful candidates will be refunded after closure of admission.

. Date of publication of merit list: 20/05/2019
. Last date of admission of Merit Listed candidates: 30/05/2019
. Last date for admission of waitlisted candidates: 15/06/2019
. Last date for admission to NRI/Mgt.Seats: 30/07/2019
. Late fees of Rs.1000/-up to 30/06/2019 & Rs.2000/-up to 30/08/2019

r. Professional students are expected to wear conservative cloths and a white lab coat in the collage premises.
s. The college will commence operation at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. All concerned are expected to be at their respective work stations by starting time .A lunch break will be provided between 12-1 p.m.
t. Loitering, unbecoming conduct and late attendance will invite strict disciplinary action.
u. In academic ,administrative and financial matters the decision of the managing committee shall be final and binding.

Information Regarding Admission

Admission to the Courses is open for the academic session 2019-2020. A student will be admitted only after submission of Qualifying Certificate. However, provisional admission may be given till the Pass Certificate is submitted. Admission is subject to a student qualifying entrance examination and availability of seats.
The admission will remain provisional till the submission of the following:
1. Verification of Original Birth Certificate.
2. Verification of Original Mark Sheet of the last exam of the last class attended.
3. Pass Certificate (May be submitted within one week of joining the class)
4. Deposition of admission fees within the prescribed date
5. Undertaking by parents in the prescribed Format.
6. Incomplete and illegible Registration Forms will not be accepted.
7. Admission to boarders can be rejected on medical grounds if he/she is suffering from the following diseases: Bacterial meningitis, Cholera, Diphtheria, Epidemic Typhoid, Leprosy, Plague, Tetanus, Tuberculosis, Typhoid fever, Measles, Mumps, Rabies, SARS, Smallpox, Viral, encephalitis, Viral gastroenteritis, Viral meningitis, Viral pneumonia, Yellow fever or any other infectious disease.
8. Admission once granted to the Hostel shall not be converted to the day school under any circumstances. However, it may be possible only after the end of the session and before the new session begins with the prior notice of three months i.e. latest by 7th in the current academic session.


REGISTRATION:

The duly filled in Registration Form should be submitted to the school along with the required documents & Registration Fee before the last date of submission of Registration Form. Application submitted after the last date will not be considered. The Registration Form is non-Passable even to the siblings and only the form issued by the school will be considered for Registration of your child. Parents are requested to go through the fee structure and prospectus 2019-2020 carefully before filling in the form.
1. The amount deposited towards Registration and Admission for a particular year will neither be refunded nor Passed to any other year or towards sibling's fee.
2. Advance fee for the whole year may be deposited in the beginning of the session
3. Annual fee, Education fee, Hostel fee and Transport fee will be automatically linked with the rise in the price index and may be increased by about 10 - 15% at the beginning of a subsequent session without any prior intimation, as determined by the school's Board of Management.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
1. The final list of selected students will be put up in the school office. Parents have to collect the selection letter from the school office within 3 days of declaration of the result.
2. The admission formalities will be intimated to the parent / guardian of the selected candidates along with the fee payment slip. The admission fee is to be deposited within 5 working days from the date of collection of the selection letter.
3. The requisite documents mentioned in the selection letter along with the photocopy of the fee slips are to be submitted within the specified date of securing admission. Please note no changes in the Data- base shall be entertained after the admission formalities are completed on the basis of Pass Certificate of the previous school and / or Birth Certificate as the case may be.
4. It is mandatory for all students to submit the Pass Certificate from the last school / college attended. No student will be admitted to the school without the submission of an official Pass Certificate from the institution last attended, nor will the student be placed in the class higher than that for which the Pass Certificate shows him/her to be qualified.
5. Fees once paid at the time of admission are not refundable in any case. In case of withdrawal, fees once paid at the time of admission are not refundable, except the security deposit. Security deposit will be refunded only when all dues to the school are cleared and fee for the current quarter is paid.
6. The school Management, acting through the managing board reserves the right to have the final word in all matters relating to the admission procedure.
